A mother from Scotland says she saw Jesus’ image in the burning Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.
According to foreign media, Lesley Rowan, 38, was watching the fire Monday night at her home in Alexandria, west of Dunbartonshire, when she said she saw “the son of God.”
She said, “Maybe it may seem to me, but take a close look at this picture and see it.”
She later added: “When I saw this photo last night, I was really surprised by what I saw. When I see it, I see a silhouette of Jesus. I really see a living image. I feel like it will bring comfort to people in Paris and around the world in this sad time. “
Some people agreed, saying they could see a dress, while others said it could only be a statue and the most cynics said they could see a fire.
The Paris Cathedral, Notre Dame, which is covered by the fire and consequently the roof is demolished, is considered one of the best examples of French Gothic architecture.
